“Will this TV allow one to add channels to those already scanned & stored, without deleting what is already stored, such as if one turns the antenna to add channels? Many TV's lack this - really dumb firmware on those!!”

Most TVs require a rescan. In fact, it is recommended that a rescan be performed periodically to update any channel changes or additions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The manual does not indicate any capacity to add channels from a second scan, to a previous scan. So, the TV appears to be severely handicapped if one wants to receive over the air signals from different directions (which is usually the case with over the air signals.) Really, really DUMB.
