How deep is the TV Insignia 40 inch flat screen tv null

The 40" Insignia flat screen TV itself is 3 1/2" deep at the widest point (lower part of screen's back has a 'bump-out'). If the unit is measured including the feet attached to the TV, the depth is 9 1/2". A 10" deep shelf surface is the minimum needed for the unit. Picture and sound are first rate. Very pleased with the TV.
