Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The illuminated bar at the bottom center of the Insignia™ 40" Class FE Series LED Full HD Smart Fire TV is a power indicator light that stays on when the TV is in standby mode. This light cannot be turned off through the TV’s settings, as it is designed to show that the TV is plugged in and ready to use. Patricia | Insignia Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for your question, JS! The illuminated bar you're seeing at the bottom center of your Insignia™ 40" Class FE Series LED Full HD Smart Fire TV is actually the power indicator light. This light stays on when the TV is plugged in to show that it's receiving power even if the TV itself is turned off. Unfortunately, there isn't a built-in setting to disable this light. However, if you'd prefer not to see it, you can unplug the TV's power cord from the outlet when it's not in use. This will completely turn off the power to the TV and the indicator light along with it. Tine | Insignia Support
