“When we're watching cable on hdmi 2 at times it shifts to random photos and says ask Alexa and we have to go back to cable by using the Tv remote settings button. It does this randomly and is very annoying. We miss part of the program.How do we stop this?”

Try the Power On feature, when enabled, your TV turns on displaying the last used input: go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like it is going to sleep (thinks you are not using it). Ours doesn't do this so it may be your connect setup or your tv. Try every once in a while changing the volume setting (up one down one and then back again) to alert your tv to being used. Not sure if it will help.
