Closed captioning seems to be static at the bottom of the screen on this model everything i have watched. Closed captioning may in some cases be app dependent.

Here at Insignia, our TV's for closed captions are at the bottom so If the closed caption on your Samsung TV is all over your screen you need to adjust it because Insignia and Samsung has different settings including closed captioning.
