Yes, BUT... I am trying to use this as a PC monitor. The device wakes up as a Fire TV every single time it turns on!!! Just stop already. I do not have a need for this to be a TV at all. I have yet to figure out how to make HDMI port 1, 2 or 3 be the default mode upon power up. So if you want to have to switch inputs EVERY SINGLE TIME you turn on this device, go right ahead. Once the device is switched to HDMI input, the screen is nice and sharp and a great image with my Windows 10/11 PC. I am using it in a virtual pinball cabinet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a larger Insignia tv (65 or 70). If you go to settings-display andsounds-power controls, there's an option for "power on" last input. My tv powers on hdmi 1 every time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yep! I'm using it as my gaming monitor. Best decision ever. As the other user said, you can change the settings to use last input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it works well as a PC monitor. My mini PC's display resolution is at 3840x2160, and the text is sharp and image/video on the screen looks good via HDMI connection. I bought this Insignia 43" 4K TV on Dec. 14, 2025 at the Plant store in San Jose
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To get the TV to stop showing the FIRE TV Screen on startup. You have to go to the main menu. Find the Display option and choose the input you want it to start up with. I found that on my initial setup. You may have to press the power of on the TV to get the display option on the main menu. Just chat Toshiba support for info.
