This is not a smart TV, but you can add a Roku or Fire TV stick/cube if you want. The benefit of getting a "dumb" TV is that you will not be subject to advertisements, etc. that plague smart TVs. When a "smart" TV starts to become too slow to run the newest version of the Roku/Fire TV interface, you are just stuck with a slow TV. When your Roku/Fire stick does the same, you just replace that one, inexpensive part and you don't need a new TV to enjoy that upgrade.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Neither, it is not a smart tv. However, the watt usage is very low, the picture quality is great amd we love it!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model does not have any smart software built-in. Keeps the unit flexible.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this is one of the reasons why i chose this model...NO smart features. much easier to replace a roku stick every few years or so than buy a whole new tv.. until about 6 months ago i had a insignia tv from 2014 that still worked perfectly. ex kept it, didn't feel like trying to get it back from her.
