“Why can't I plug the digital optical cable into the TV? I have it lined up correctly - it just won't go in. I have removed the plastic protectors. It just won't "click"in and go in solidly at all. Trying to connect to a soundbar. Thanks.”

I hooked up a soundbar to my tv and it went with no problem. It should be the very top hole.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as the plastic covers are removed and the cable is being inserted in the proper orientation, it should insert fine. These types of cables and ports are very standardized.
