“Can it be transported on its side or back or must it be standing upright?”

• It needs to be upright the same number of hours it was laying on its side before plugging it in. The other answer is an even safer method with 24 to 48 hours upright before plugging in. I had this question because I can't transport it without putting it on its side. Thank God for Google.

• ANYTHING with freon must be transported upright. It needs to sit upright for 24-48 hrs anyway before plugging in, just in case it git tipped in transport.

• As long as t you stand it straight for about 3 hours prior to plugging it in. I did and it’s fine
