• I'm not sure how big a bag of ice is so measured the shelves. Top three are 15"W x 14"D x 9"H. Hope that helps.

• Yes, a 8 lb. bag of ice will fit in this freezer. 1 bag per shelf. It is a wonderful freezer. Very glad we bought it.
