You have to unplug the freezer. Pull the drain plug. Remove the food and store someplace to keep cold. You can you warm water on the shelves to speed up the process. When thawed wipe down the inside of the freezer and shelves to dry. Do not use a knife to scrape the shelves this could damage the shelves. Once thawed and dried put the drain plug back it plug in the unit and replace the frozen food. If additional information is needed please check out the internet. I hope this answers your question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We just emptied the freezer and unplugged it. Put something down to soak up the water. We used old towels. That way it doesn't end up all over the floor. Wait until it is complete ice free, dry it out and plug it back in. Let it get cold again and you will be good to go.
