• A:Answer We do not recommend that you install your refrigerator into a corner or directly beside a wall. If it is necessary to place the unit next to a wall or in a corner, leave at least 2.4 - 4 in. • A:Answer Mine is freestanding and works well. If the floor you want to put it on is not level (like in an old or damaged house) make sure to adjust the levelling adjuster under the refrigerator (consult the instructions included with it). Either use a level to check, or put something that rolls easily, perhaps a ball, on top.
