I have my fridge set to 35 degrees, I haven't checked to see if it would go lower. It was preset to 37 and I wanted my drinks colder. I have not noticed the fan coming on when I opened the door. I did notice condensation on the out side of the casing just because it's so hot outside. Wish I could have been of more help.
