“Can this be used with the sony handycam it has a screw for a tripod?”

• Worked with my JVC HDcam which has a screw at the bottom as well. I purchased mine (bought 3) when its on sale for 2.99. Great bargain and pretty sturdy for its size.

• Yes But. It can be connected but can't be to heavy and must be balanced enough not to tip it over. I'm using it with a GoPro

• As long as your camera has that metal threaded hole on the bottom, it should work. I used this tripod with my mini projector and my Panasonic LUMIX camera.
