• NO AUTO DEFROST. But depending on how much you open the door, defrosting is should be minimal.

• Just bought this freezer two weeks ago but have not used in intensively to know if it automatically defrost but so far it's been running very clean and I am more than satisfied with the product. I definitely will recommend it.
