Yes, I understand what you meant and yes, it looks like this is the newer model of our recalled model…not happy with the way they are handling this recall. Looks like I’ll be forced to pay $60 more than what I originally paid….best buy should just be offering a clean swap for this model!

Also, this model has 5qt capacity. There's model that looks the same as this one. That particular model has been recalled. I know this because I have this model and I got the recall letter. The model of the air fryer that I have is NS-AF53DSS0. Also, it's 6qt capacity is greater. I got mine as a deal of the day for $50 ??? I am so disappointed that it is recalled because I love it. This one is close. I hate the idea of paying more than double to settle for something that’s not quite what I like. Maybe this model will be a deal of the day soon.

I’m not sure why the Insignia Customer Support is saying it’s not. We got ours on Black Friday and are a little annoyed that we now have to fork out money for an equivalent air fryer.
