“I purchased this tv love it but it seems when i put my xfinity remote on it doesn’t go to my cable channels i have to go to the tv remote first to direct it to my HDMI Imput . I didn’t want to have to use 2 remotes.”

Try the Power On feature, when enabled, your TV turns on displaying the last used input, then you no need TV remote frequency: go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.
