This just happened to me this last weekend. I’m so upset and apparently others have had the same issue. The backlight has gone out. So you can see faint pictures in the background and hear the sound, but the screen is darn near black. It’s a shame and now I have to get a new TV because the warranty is only good for a year. I got this TV 2 years ago.
