What happens when the screen turns black null

This literally happened to me this weekend suddenly. Exactly two years after purchase. I can still fading see the screen and I can hear sound. It’s a problem with the backlight which maybe costly to fix. The warranty is only for a year.

Mine didn't even make it to two years - did the same thing 1 year and 8 months after purchase.  Can't help feeling like I've been seriously ripped off.

Wow definitely seeing a trend. I bought 3 of these and 2 of them did this exact thing. 2 years 6 months after I purchased them.
