• Yes, I would recommend using some speakers or home theater system especially viewing DVDs on a DVD (Blu-ray) player. I used some cheap but good sound quality computer speakers by connecting them into the audio input (green plug). The sound is quite exceptional!!

• Yes you can, I connected a soundbar, it has rca plug in, stereo jack plug, and digital output port. It was simple and easy to connect the sound bar.
