QuestionI have this tv and it says it is in 480p. How do I change that

- Answer It should change depending on what resolution the channel you are watching is in. If you are watching a 720p or 1080p broadcast then it should upscale that, just as it is upscaling a 640 by 480 one. To see a true 4k recording, go to youtube and type in 4k demos. If it does not blow you away then you have a problem. :-)

- Answer This sounds like what happened to me. The remote is defective and you should either contact the manufacturer to get a replacement or buy a universal remote that works with Insignia products—worked for me.

QuestionAnyway to dim or turn off the "power light?" This TV is in the bedroom, and the blindingly bright blue LED on the bottom illuminates the whole room at night. Cover the light with tape, you say? Well, it's also the IR sensor for the remote. Can't do that.
