Is the Directvnow app available on this tv? null

Yes. It is a smart tv. So it has all the apps you need.

This is a smart TV. Which means if you have internet access, either cable or Wi-Fi, you should be able to download any app you like. I have downloaded several apps including YouTube...for a lot of Comcast users this is hard to do on some TVs.
