“Is it possible to turn tv on and have it go straight to hmi1. Always starts on home screen and have to select hmi1. I have changed the setting and still it starts at home?”

• Hi, there. This TV does come with a Power on function for that purpose. It is enabled when you have the TV connected to internet and you can set it up like this: -SETTINGS. -DISPLAY & SOUND. -POWER ON. -LAST INPUT. Cesar G. - Insignia Support
