“Are the HDMI ports on the tv CEC compatible? I dont wan't fire tv and would instead like to use my chromecast.”

Connect your device to HDMI1 (ARC), then go Home > Settings > Display and Sounds > HDMI CEC Device Control and turn ON. You can connect your Chromecast device at anytime to the TV using an HDMI port. David M. - Insignia Support
