Can you add apps to it like Peacock? null

Unfortunately the Peacock app is not available for download. You can connect an Apple TV box using an HDMI cable.

At this time Peacock is not available on FireTV and Roku from the respective App Stores... I am sure if you were to google "Peacock on firetv" you will most likely find a guide to install it, but remember that opens your device to malware by installing software from a 3rd party site. FireTV has an excellent selections of apps. I have bought 3 of these style TVs in different sizes just to save ~$50 on a firestick for each. No issues so far. I love these TVs.
