“What kind of remote control does this tv have? It will be used by my elderly parents and they will not be using the smart features. Does the remote have a source or input feature on it? Thanks in advance for your help.”

would not recommend for elderly, its a little tricky
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This TV includes a new remote that has buttons on it to control the TV. The remote doesn't have Source/Input button. To change the input: Press the Home button and then use the Dpad Down button to navigate to the Input row, then press the Dpad Right button to scroll through the Inputs and press the Center button to Select the desired Input. Try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.
