A:AnswerUnit was less than a year old. Insignia is a Best Buy name brand, so they took it back without an extended warranty.. Long story short, the unit is garbage when it starts doing this.
A:AnswerPlease note this unit does not have an inner cartridge to clean. The only other part in the tank is a free moving float which just snaps into place.
A:AnswerI wouldn’t say it blows out hot air, but the exhaust air is slightly warm. I have have not noticed it making the room any hotter, but I do keep it in a very large space. If anything it makes the room much more comfortable.
