Leg to leg is 39". Front leg to back leg is 11". Legs lift the tv up 2 1/2". The total width of the TV is 49.2"

I have it sitting on about the same and the legs do fit because they sit about 4 inches in from the end of the tv. My wife saysit looks odd bc the ends of each side are lapping over each end of the tv stand and wants to get a longer stand.
