The back light on the screen went out, just happened to mine and the model is only a year old. Ive been going back and forth with customer service for about three days about this, sadly, if you dont have the original receipt you are out your money and a TV and they will do nothing for you. I did some research and this is a problem insignia has had at least for the past four years so they know about it and will do nothing to correct it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
