“I connected a 3.5mm headphone jack with two RCA jacks between the headphone port on the TV and the RCA jacks to the AUX input on my stereo receiver then set the receiver to AUX but no sound came out. What could the problem be?”

You have to go to display and sounds settings and select and select audio output scroll down to audio output jack and click on it and select fixed and it should work i have mine set up through that for my surround sound system
