Hello! Thank you for your question. To have your Insignia™ 55" Class F50 Series Fire TV start on HDMI 1, press the Home button on your remote, go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Power Controls > Power On, and select Last Input. Then switch to HDMI 1 and turn the TV off. The next time you power it on, it should automatically return to HDMI 1. Darshan | Insignia
