You shouldn't need anything else if your Direct TV already has channels. I'm not familiar with Direct TV, so if you need to watch more movies you will need to subscribe to Netflix, Amazon Prime or HBO Go. But you should have plenty of options with your Direct TV. I only have high-speed Internet and don't watch much TV, so I prefer the other options I listed.
