“When this tv powers up, it goes directly to its home screen. Is there any way to have it default to the HDMI1 input?”

• Go to Setting, display and go to power and choose last input instead of Home Menu. Just going off of memory from what I did last night. Have to double check.

• Can you do this with the 55" model? My power menu has only the option for home screen, or "last row". I want it to start on the last input, not a row of input choices.

• you can change in settings for it to turn on to last input used

• Yes. Look through the settings and change to the place where it was turned off. If not set, you will always get the FireTV screen.

• I am also wondering about this, as the only options I see are "Home" or "Recent Row." If set to Recent Row, you still have to select an input from your recent inputs, or it just stays on that screen. This means that you cannot just use the universal Xfinity TV remote, instead of the Insignia remote, because the Xfinity remote won't control that screen.
