I believe you can hook it up to your cable,. I'm hooked up to dish right now and i use the dish remote and the alexa insignia remote ( we are cutting the cord with dish soon) you can get all the apps you mentioned, with monthly subscriptions. we are using hulu with live tv, and amazon prime and happy with both. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can hook up Cox Cable box (via HDMI). You absolutely can get Amazon Prime (and purchased) videos, Hulu, Netflix. There is no YouTube app. There are 3rd party ones that it's safest to not use. Amazon & Google are at war w/ each other and until Amazon agrees to sell Google products on Amazon, there will be no YouTube app on any Amazon device. Just a heads up.
