The base of the Insignia™ 55" Class QF Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV is not adjustable. The stand width for this TV is 41.3 inches. Since your base is 44 inches, it should be able to accommodate the TV comfortably. Patricia | Insignia Support
