“I got this TV less than a month ago, how come when I turn it off, and go to turn it back on, the screen lights up but is still black, it won’t go to the Home Screen? The screen also has lines in it when connected to an HDMI cord”

A black screen with visible backlighting and lines on the display is not normal operation. First, try unplugging the TV for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. If the issue occurs on both the Home Screen and HDMI inputs, it may indicate a hardware or panel problem. Since the TV is less than a month old, I would recommend contacting Best Buy or Insignia support for warranty service or an exchange.
