• No. It’s only referring to your phone having no wires attached to it to charge. You still have to have the base plugged up.

• So I thought the wireless charging is from the phone to the pad, the pad itself requires power as far as I know.

• The “wireless” refers to your phone, not the pad. The pad still needs plugged in.
