• If your TV has the plug interface that is rounded on one side and square the other it may fit. However this plug is not grounded nor provides the 3rd prong for something using a lot of electricity.

• There are 2 types of connectors for these power cords, polarized (o o] and non-polarized (o o). Make sure the connector matches your television and make sure that the input voltage on your television is the same as your outlet (should be 110 in the US), this cord doesn't transform the voltage. For a Samsung, 110 is probably an acceptable voltage.
