• A:Answer 10A probably refers to 10 amps. Most TVs since at least 2010 don't draw that much amps. This cord or this other one should work for you. • A:Answer As long as the Female end fits the TV this should work. Remember we use AC Current so it does not matter which way you plug the cord in, it would only matter if we used DC Currents.
