• It is compatable with the MacBook Pro, IF you get the adapter. There is an adapter for MacBooks that you must purchase to connect any external cord to.

• No, there is no hdmi port on the MacBook Pro. It has USB ports.

• Yes, my MacBook Pro has an HDMI port on it and I use this cord all the time. Just make sure you have an hdmi port on your computer

• You will need to get the Apple converter. They have those at Best Buy as well. You have to ask one of the workers though.
