“Dryer shuts off mid-way through cycle, and “clean filter” light comes on. However, the lint filter is clean, and nothing on it when I check it. I let dryer sit for 30 minutes and it works again for a cycle or two, then does same thing again.”

Make sure your dryer vents are CLEAN! that creates a backup pressure that will set off that switch
