I was having the same exact problem right before it went out completely and wouldn’t turn back on. I check my fuse box and that wasn’t it.

If you are not in the habit of cleaning your lint filter, you should be. It should be emptied before drying every load. Letting it just build up means lint escapes into the exhaust hose and possibly the vent in your home.
