The Insignia™ 6.7 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer is designed to operate on a 240V, 30-amp power supply. This means it cannot be directly plugged into a standard 110V outlet. To use this dryer safely, you'll need a dedicated 240V outlet. If your home doesn't have one, you might need to have an electrician install the appropriate outlet.
