• I just purchased this gas dryer and a non-detachable power cord is connected to the machine.

• Yes, this gas dryer requires an electrical cord however it does not come with one. The cord used depends on the outlet. There's a three wire outlet which uses 10-30R or four wire outlet which uses 14-30R.
