Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is a digital coaxial (RCA) cable and not simply a sub-woofer single RCA cable. Your sounds system will obviously need a S/PDIF RCA connector in for it to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your satellite box has digital coax "out" and your audio system has digital coax "in," then yes, this is the cable you need. In my case it was a Sony Blu-Ray player with coax out, going to my Sherwood audio receiver's coax input. Like magic, it passes all audio info (left, right, surround) through ONE single cable. The video is handled separately by an HDMI cable going straight to my TV. So now I can choose to hear audio from the Sony player either just on the TV speakers, or also through my stereo/surround sound system with subwoofer etc.
