“I have a dell latitude E5440 with a docking station with video DVI. I am trying to discern what cable I need to connect to a Samsung monitor that has a HDMI port. I have tried using my USB port connected with a HDMI cable extender but it didn't work.”

• Your Dell should have an HDMI port on the side. You can connect with an HDMI cable and use the second monitor. You may need to set-up the second monitor with the laptop open before closing to the Docking Station.
