A:AnswerSaw your question is rather old, but just saw it tonight. Assuming the DVD Player is HDMI out and the projector is DVI in, this should work well. I am using computer to monitor, which is essentially the same setup.
A:AnswerI do not understand how you would go about hooking up a hard drive to a monitor. However, if your computer has a DVI connection and you need to plug it into a monitor with only an HDMI connection then yes this will work.
