• No, this cable will only run 4K @30 Hz or 1080p @60Hz. Sorry, I ran into the same thing on both my Mac Mini and my IMac.

• It will work with 4k at 30Hz for sure. Cable is only $20 bucks. Take a chance. This cable works great on my late 2012 Mac mini. I get 4k at 30Hz with the Intel 4000 graphics.

• Not familiar with MacBooks but I’ve used it on my msi laptop and it allows me to use gsync and 4K at 144hz
