- Answer No, It will run 4K @ 30Hz or 1080p @ 60Hz. I had to go with an HDMI cable on my Mac Mini to get 4K. I had to settle with 1080p on my IMac.

- Answer No, this cable will only run 4K @30 Hz or 1080p @60Hz. Sorry, I ran into the same thing on both my Mac Mini and my IMac.

- Answer The Insignia mini display port to displayport cable should work on you 2011 iMac. But the mini display port to hdmi will not work.
