- Answer After reading a few answers I'm confused both lights on great someone said if both were green I didn't see anything if one was red my surge red light, ground green light if lights red is that good or only green or does it matter on color as long as they are both lit

Question30 feet from service panel?A small slip of paper in the package says "DO NOT install if not at least 30 feet from service panel." What does this mean? 30 feet covers most of a normal house.

- Answer I think they are referring to your breaker box or fuse panel. I don't understand the 30'. I have surge protectors and other electric cables within 6' of my breaker box and have no issues.
